As we gear up for the new school year, our PTO is entering a season of transition—some board members are finishing their terms, and others are moving on as their kids graduate. We’re looking for new board members to help keep our community strong!

Getting involved is a meaningful way to give back to our school, and help create a more fun and rewarding experience for all our children—including your own.

There’s a role for everyone—whether you have a little time or a lot. No experience is needed, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Interested in a Board role? Click here for Board position descriptions and use the sign up here to express interest. Add your name by May 14 before our PTO meeting, when we’ll form next year’s Board. If more than one person signs up for a spot, we’ll ensure a fair process.

Questions? Reach out to co-presidents. We’d love to connect with you!

The Countryside building replacement project is finally kicking off with fencing going up around the fields and parking lot on Wednesday March 19th!

We know that this will be an exciting and potentially challenging project especially for those driving to the school as parking will be more challenging.  We ask that you try to continue to be great neighbors to the surrounding houses and great friends to everyone who is accessing the building while we create a new norm for school drop off and pickup. Please, have a look at the image bellow about new parking regulations on the school's surrounding streets.

While we all can’t wait for a new building, and to watch the new one be built it will take some time and adjustment. To help you with this we would recommend ensuring you are subscribed and read frequently both Principal Hurlihy’s ParentSquare messages and also Josh Morse’s building updates on behalf of the project and City of Newton.

We like you look forward to this fun and exciting project taking shape and culminating in a new school which is planned to open midway through the 2026-2027 school year.
