Thank you to all that have already donated! With 12 days left to donate, we are 67% to our goal of $30,000. If you haven't already donated, we ask that you consider giving what you can to this year’s Annual Fund.
While the cost is $150 per student to run programs and events for the year, we appreciate that every family has different circumstances and no donation is too small to make a difference.
You can make a donation via Venmo or check addressed to the Countryside PTO. Don't forget to check with your employer for matching opportunities! For more information on the programs and events your donation will support, check out the Annual Fund brochure sent home in your child’s folder.
We need volunteers to help support this year's event! We're seeking enthusiastic parents to assist with setting up, volunteering during the event, and/or cleaning up after the party.
Do you love to decorate? We need a team to help transform Countryside on Friday, October 24 from 7:00–10:00 p.m. Please sign up: here!
We are seeking volunteers to support running our games, selling concessions, and monitoring our quiet zone. Please sign up: here!
This Spook-tacular event will take place Saturday, October 25 from 4:30–8:00 p.m.
Sensory Friendly Space*: 4:30–5:00 p.m.
Grades K–2: 5:00–6:30 p.m.
Grades 3–5: 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Students with sensory sensitivities (any grade) who benefit from reduced noise and lighting effects are welcome to join us for early access from 4:30–5:00 p.m. In addition, a dedicated Quiet Zone will be available during the event.
Important notes: This is NOT a drop-off event; children must be accompanied by an adult. No full face masks will be allowed for this event. We need to be able to visibly identify students even in costumes. No weapons, toy weapons, or props replicating weapons (sorry no light sabers either!) are to be brought to school. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Halloween Party event chair: Denitsa Brown. Stay up to date on this event on our PTO website.

Paint, draw, or carve a pumpkin (real or fake) and bring it to this year's Halloween party on October 25! Voting will be done by students at the party and winners will be announced the following week via email. Winners will receive a gift certificate to Yogurt Beach!
The Rules:
Make sure your name and grade are written in permanent marker on the bottom of your pumpkin.
Pumpkins must be brought home after the party or they will be discarded.
There will be four total winners—two for the first time slot (Grades K–2) and two for the second time slot (Grades 3–5).
We are seeking a volunteer to run the Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Please sign up: here!
* You can stay up to date on the Pumpkin Contest by visiting our PTO website.
When: Sunday, October 26 from 3:00–4:30 p.m.
Where: Countryside raised garden beds
Please join the Countryside Green Team for our Fall Harvest and Tea Party! We will meet at the Countryside raised garden beds on Sunday, October 26 from 3:00–4:30 p.m. We will harvest fall vegetables from the garden and sample hot teas flavored with fresh garden herbs, along with cider or lemonade for the kids and allergy-friendly snacks. The kids can help us harvest, prepare, and serve. We will learn about the science and culture of tea and have fun garden games and activities. Please have your child bring their favorite mug for a greener party. Email Julie with questions.
If you haven’t yet, please consider taking a moment to save or bookmark the link to our “one stop shop” Countryside PTO website. Within the site, you’ll find a variety of content related to our PTO, including all of our Sunday bi-weekly newsletters and the email blasts.
