Limited PTO funds are available to support faculty and staff efforts to enhance student learning and experience at Countryside Elementary School. Apply for a grant using this form.
Individual grants can range from $50-$500 and may include partial awards. Grade-level and team proposals are also encouraged.
The PTO has budgeted for mini-grants within the guidelines of the Newton Public School’s equity policy, which may require difficult decisions. Please also note that any goods or materials purchased through the Countryside PTO mini grants remain property of Countryside Elementary School.
Grant awards are awarded twice a year – after review and approval by the board and administration, we aim to have results and funds in motion four weeks after submission.
Please remember that this fund is administered by parents volunteering to run the PTO, and the funds are from a finite amount of donated dollars. Therefore, please be both creative in your sourcing and patient on a response.
