Dear Countryside Families,
Hope everyone's Spring is off to a great start! As we begin looking ahead to next year, we are excited to share that we have several positions open for next year’s PTO Board as well as opportunities to co-chair a number of our Fall PTO events that require some earlier planning. We eagerly welcome the opportunity to have new people join the PTO and take on leadership roles and contribute to our Countryside community in a rewarding & impactful way and drive a fun, engaging, and enriching experience for our children.
In this update, you’ll find a sign-up form for open PTO board positions and a sign-up form for select PTO event co-chair positions that we need ready for this Fall. We encourage anyone interested to consider joining—whether you’re new to the PTO or looking to take on a new role, your involvement matters and is always welcome!
We’ll be hosting a casual PTO Coffee soon to share more about the available roles and answer any questions—stay tuned for details. In the meantime, feel free to sign-up and/ or reach out to us with any questions!
Warmly,
Steve, Tera, and Melissa

As we prepare for the new school year, our PTO is entering a period of transition—some board members are finishing their terms and others are moving on as their kids graduate. We’re looking for new members to help keep our community strong!
Getting involved is a meaningful way to give back to our school and help create a fun and rewarding experience for all our children—including your own. There’s a role for everyone—whether you have a little time or a lot. No experience is needed, and we’ll support you every step of the way.
For the 2026–27 school year, we are seeking volunteers for both Board of Directors and Event Chair roles. No prior experience is needed for any position and there are roles for all levels of commitment! We are sharing two signup genius lists: one for Board of Directors positions (click HERE) and one with a select list of Event Chair positions that we need to fill in advance of the school year (click HERE).
Click HERE for a detailed description of all Board of Directors and event chair position roles.
For the Board-specific positions, the new Board will be voted in at the PTO meeting on May 13. Please note that to avoid a "first come, first served" bias in the signup, there are multiple slots for each role. You MUST indicate your interest in the signup genius prior to the meeting in order to be eligible for the vote. If there are multiple people signed up for a slot, each candidate will have a chance to speak about what attracted them to that position.
We’re looking for volunteers to donate:
Sweet dips (fruit dip, dessert dips, etc.)
Savory dips (Tzatziki, salsa, hummus, queso, buffalo chicken, etc.)
Dippers (chips, crackers, pretzels, veggies, fruit, etc.)
You can sign up to bring a homemade or store-bought item, whatever works best for you! Please sign up HERE.
Please label your dish with ingredients and drop off items at the staff room between 11:30-12pm on Wednesday, April 15th.
Thank you for helping us make this a delicious and memorable treat for our staff!
